Bibliography

Black-glazed saltcellar mended from many fragments and restored. It was found in 1959 on the south slope of the Acropolis.

It is ring-footed and the body has thick walls forming an incurving rim. The glazing that covers the whole pot is black except from the groove around the foot and body junction, the groove on the resting surface, as well as a narrow band around the central nipple on the underside of the base, all left in the colour of the clay.
